Windy City H.E.A.L.S., a health education awareness learning series, is our flagship program created to address significant health disparities among African Americans.
Our focus includes:
Cardiovascular Disease (CVD)
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)
HIV/AIDS
By promoting healthy living strategies, we aim to reduce these health disparities and improve overall health outcomes
Key Achievements:
23 out of 25 kidney screening recipients discovered abnormal kidney function and took steps to secure treatment.
Reached 4,000 young women and girls through virtual HIV/AIDS education.
Provided direct access to medical professionals for underserved community
